Fruited Salsa

This is something Healthy and ideal for the hot and scorching Summers!

Ingredients:
Finely diced peeled firm-ripe papaya - 1 cup
Finely diced peeled firm-ripe mango - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped white onion - 1/3 cup
chopped fresh cilantro - 3 tspns
Fresh orange juice - 1 tspn
Fresh lime juice - 1 tspn
Minced fresh jalapeƱo chile, including seeds - 1 tspn
salt - to taste

Method:
Stir together all ingredients.

Begun Pora Wrap

So, you all have tried Chicken Twister at KFC I guess - the Chicken wrap? And all you Bongs have grown up with a healthy dose of Begun Pora! So, here's a fusion of it :P Well, kinda!

Ingredients:
For the Wrap:
Maida - 1 1/2 Cups
Dry Yeast - 1/2 Ttsp
Salt

For Begun Pora :
Brinjal - 1 large
Red Onion - 1/2 cup, chopped
Green Chili - 2, finely chopped
Garlic - 5 cloves, minced
Tomato - 1, diced
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Mustard Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt

Method:
- Activate the dry yeast by adding it to 1/2 cup luke warm water and keeping it in a dark cool place for 15 minutes.
- Sift the flour and add a pinch of salt.
- Add the yeast and make a soft smooth dough and keep it aside for and hour or so.
- Make chappatti/roti out of the dough without cooking it on direct flame.
- Prick the brinjal all over and rub some oil on it.
- Roast on open flame, rotating frequently, till it is soft and charred. it takes about 25-30 minutes to cook.
- Let it cool for about 8-10mins minutes, then take the skin off.
- Knead it to make it into a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a skillet. Add the chopped onion, a little salt and green chilli.
- Cook till the onion gets soft and oil begins to separate.
- Add the minced garlic and tomato and cook for 2-4 minutes more.
- Now add the mashed brinjal and cook it till its dry.
- Remove from heat and add the lemon Juice. (You can also add cilantro for some taste)
- Spread out the cooked brinjal on the Chapatti/Roti and sprinkle some black pepper for an added zing.
- Wrap it!

It is just that easy!

Lime Cup

Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups sweet lime (mosambi) juice
2 tbsp rose syrup
4 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger (adrak) juice
crushed ice

Method:
Mix all the ingredients except the ice.
Serve in tall glasses with crushed ice.
